The Sony PSHX500 encapsulates the easiest of old and new technologies by having the ability to record from vinyl to DSD Hi-Res Audio. Equipped with an ADC (Analogue to Digital Convertor) the Sony plugs into your laptop or PC by means of USB, where discs are recorded in High Resolution. With file quality as much as PCM 192kHz/24-bit or DSD 5.6MHz, your stored records now have the potential to sound each bit as good as the finest quality digital audio.
